Friday Food: National Doughnut Day

Did you know that during WWI the Salvation Army had official “Doughnut Girls”? Today is the 72nd Annual National Doughnut Day, started in Chicago to honor the ladies that boosted soldiers spirits by delivering freshly made doughnuts right to the fields.
